Biography

Gianfranco Zola is the Manager of West Ham United in the English Premier League. After a glittering playing career for Napoli, Chelsea and Italy, Zola became assistant coach of the Azzurini – the Italian U-21 team. Their exciting, passing game reflected their coach. With this in mind, West Ham offered Zola the manager’s position in September 2008. After a shaky start, Zola managed to get his team playing attractive and winning football.
