Biography
David Howell is considered as one of the best golfers in the world. At one point in his career he was in the Top 10 in the Player Rankings, after some superb victories in the BMW International Open and the HSBC Champions tournament. He was consistently challenging for the European Order of Merit up until a back injury in 2007 that has hampered his form. He is on the comeback trail, and, having had experience of winning the Ryder Cup in 2006, could be in the team at Celtic Manor.
