Biography
Angelos Basinas is a defensive midfielder who plays for Greece and Portsmouth in the English Premier League. Basinas is at his best when man-marking more creative rival midfielders, stopping the ball from getting near them, and taking it off them with some sublime tackles when it does. He joined in February 2009, on deadline day, but looks to have been a good signing, in spite of his age.
