Messages Sent      Apr 21st, 2008
Your Messages have been getting sent to all the footballers, boxers, golfers, tennis, snooker and rugby players, and the F1 drivers on a fortnightly basis for the last three months!

Our latest batch has gone out today, just in time for you all to get your congratulatory messages in for Joe Calzaghe.

Carlos Tevez also had a fair few after managing to keep Manchester United's Premiership title in sight!

Thanks for your messages

Christmas Messages to Players Deadline      Dec 20th, 2007
The deadline for sending Christmas messages has passed. At 12 noon today we took all messages from the server and will be sending them out by first class post this afternoon.

Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and the rest should have the booklets ready to hang next to their Christmas Stockings (I presume they use football socks like everyone else?!)

We'll also be distributing messages to the other sportspeople, including Andy Murray and Stephen Hendry.

We'll next be sending out messages on the 2nd January 2008 - get your comments on the exciting Christmas football goal-fest games in by then!

From all at Contact The Players, have a Merry Christmas and an excellent New Year!

Expansion Plans      Dec 13th, 2007
All our customers will be pleased to see that you can now email more athletes than ever!

We've added more British (or British-based) players to our network, which means that you can now contact -

  • Formula 1 drivers like Lewis Hamilton, David Coulthard
  • Tennis Stars like Andy Murray and Alex Bogdanovic
  • Snooker Players like Stephen Hendry and Mark Williams
  • World Class Boxers like Ricky Hatton and Joe Calzaghe
On top of that, we've also added every Rugby Union player a fan could dream of in the Guiness Premiership and Irish/Scottish/Welsh Magners League, and you can still contact any Premiership footballer - with their messages now meeting them at their training grounds across the country on a regular basis!

For those of you that love him, we've also added David Beckham, even though sending thousands of messages across the Atlantic can get expensive!

We are hoping to get more fan's messages to the players by launching a publicity campaign, which is being ran by Sports Specialists Three Pipe - hopefully everybody will be hearing about our service soon!

In the meantime, please help us get heard about by linking to us, telling your friends about us, and blogging about us!

Thanks

Contact The Players Team

Messages Sent to Footballers      Nov 29th, 2007
We've sent another batch of messages out to the Premiership footballing superstars!

Over 1000 messages were processed and we sent nearly 600 messages to footballers in the English Premier League! Next Send date will be mid-december, which will be the last date before Christmas - get those festive 'Feliz Navidad's in before it's too late!

Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba pulled in the most comments, with Cristiano's good form of late, as well as the England football team's displays featuring heavily.

Its an exciting time here at Contact The Players - the eagle eyed amongst you will have spotted the redirection to football.contacttheplayers.com - we'll be launching new services over the coming weeks, all things being well!

We'll also be launching our Press campaign in a bid to get heard about a bit more! Watch this space to find out in due course!

Messages Sent      Nov 15th, 2007
Our latest batch of your emails has been printed off and we are in the process of sending the booklets to the Premiership Footballers!

Cristiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba, et al will be getting their messages delivered direct to the training ground, ready for when they return from International duty!

The most messages were for Cristiano Ronaldo (no surprise given the amount of publicity we're getting from our friends at
http://www.cristianoronaldo7.com/), with Manchester United getting the most messages as a team.

The least popular team (whose fans mustn't have heard about the service yet) was Derby County, who had a paltry two messages.

Our printing routine is getting pretty good now, so we're hoping to get another set of messages to the players on the 29th November - get writing now!

One last point - please don't just email asking for the player to send you signed photos, etc, as you wouldn't believe how many of these-type emails the players receive! Tell them something interesting instead!

Thanks

The Contacttheplayers Team
